Is it worth playing through the mass effect games?

Thread Starter
Hi, I have been hearing nothing but praise for the mass effect trilogy (except the ending, which from what i have heard is just a bunch of people wanting a Hollywood style ending) and i have only ever played about 30 minutes of 2 when it first came out (rented it on 360). Now that i have the second game on steam and some money in my paypal AND 2 weeks off for school holidays do you think its worth playing them (at leased as much as i can in 2 weeks)?

Thanks.

Mass Effect 1 is one of the best games ever made in my opinion! It has the strongest story out of the three with the best customisation options play that at the very least!

They are great games biggrin.gif

Well, the ending is terrible for many reasons, nothing to do with what you said. But yes, the series is an absolute must imo. All 3 games are fantastic, especially if you're into sci-fi at all.

Yes it is the story line is pretty good but I would say start from 1 and move up each game to 3 and make sure you import your saves from the last game when u start the next one, you get a better experience that way
