Idle temps might be the same, but the load temps are going to be at least 15C-20C cooler. My 470s would go past 100C on stock. cooling. After using a MCW82, the load temps never went above 52C even in the summer.

Nice, thats the same stuff I'm planning to order. Problem is, the EVGA GTX 680 isn't avaiable for purchase yet, in the Netherlands... I'm not sure if I'll wait for it to be delivered, or to get another brand. This will be my first time watercooling, so I'm a bit anxious, thinking warranty is important. For all I know, Asus doesn't give warranty when the reference cooler has been removed. Should I even be worrying about this .. ?
