Alphacool Repack Dual Laing D5 Dual 5,25 Bay Station - Page 2

You have more than enough room to fit your dual D5 + top in your M8 + Pedestal, I think the problem you will have is NOT Knowing what to put inside, it has THAT much room.. I have a M10 + Pedestal, 4x 360 radiators, 25 fans, 2x RP452x2 and 4 D5, 2 PSU and a list of all the stuff that everyone else would have in a puter case... Its a bit crammed now.. biggrin.gif

With that note aside, The Alphacool res looks good, I don't own one.. but as previous poster mentioned, I much prefer to have a option to run serial or parallel on a single RP452 unit, with the Alphacool, it appears not to be an option..

I am curious as to how they manage the flow into the reservoir and back out, since it's a single reservoir and dual D5, A product review is all good but I really enjoy the actual testing and in depth info of a unit that Martin and Skineee provides, perhaps someone will post a review of the unit on here with similar info... (fingers crossed)..

nm, just looking at there website.

Dual operation can be configured to couple the pumps serially or for parallel operation. The pumps always draw the coolant from one combined reservoir.

Confused.

If you count as accessory 8 screws to secure the bay of the case and a key tork! well since you get home!

The reservoir did not come with one or accessory! Besides those mentioned above!

I am considering buying two connecting angle of 45 and put a hose on them and link behind the reservario well as Koolance are.
example below

Looks like you will have to manually connect the top 2 G 1/4" holes, OUT to IN. You might be able to find some fittings that do so. Koolance had a 180 degree fitting for version and you had to buy it seperately. Not sure if Alphacool is selling it seperately too or not.

Connecting the IN/OUT won't work because the IN goes strait to the res. This is what i think needs to happen.

driftingforlife you say that there should be a connector out of the reservoir and other internal? if there is no way for one who is threaded into the connector are the upper and lower middle has not! at least this is what I remember!

90586645518466466980.jpg

Is that just might work?

The first two would be using T or Y to connect the two output connections, and two entered into one outlet and an inlet.
The second would be only a T or Y output to connect to where we want high flow, to return only use only one connection to another agent puts a Monsoon Antimicrobial Silver Bullet G1 / 4 plug or Stop Fitting or Brass Plug
