Assuming you are talking about the D5 reservoir, you can use 1 single pump with either In but each Out is tied to 1 pump.

i've been using it for about 2 weeks, with 2 D5 pumps, check my youtube channel (username same as here), I have two videos up, one shows the setup with a Y-Fitting, and the other video shows running dual loops

one thing I don't like about this reservoir is that you can't run two D5's in a series, you have to either choose to run Parallel, or Dual Loops because one pump doesn't feed into the second pump. Both pumps have their own outlet on the back, and the inlets to each pump are permanently fixed inside the reservoir

Yes, but draining your loop from a bay reservoir isn't a great idea unless you only have 1 radiator in the roof and the reservoir is the lowest point in the loop. Draining requires gravity to work unless you plan on blowing air through somehow. I drain my loop from my bottom rad, and I plan on adding a second drain line to the rad in the roof as I'm running dual loops

I only have 1 radiator and the res will be in the bottom bays of the front. But I've decided to go with a EK dual bay res
