Gunnar Gaming classes, who has tried them?

I'm looking to make a purchase for one of these pairs of glasses. I've read some decent reviews. But I figured I would ask the folks at OCN who have tried them what they think/thought? My 9-5 job is fully computer based, and outside of track days on my motorcycle I game and make vidoes. My latest degree I am working on is cinematography so I'll be investing even more time on a computer shortly.

My eyes do get tired often, and I'm hoping these will help. What is the communities thoughts on these glasses? Comfortable, good contrast?

These look like a gimmick i could be wrong. I would do lots of research before buying a pair of these. I know some OCN members were testing these hopefully they will chime in if their not under a NDA.
Worse than crack.

I've got a buddy from PAX Prime 2011 that bought a set. Messaged him, but time zone different. So I shall see what he thought. I mean, I really cannot find a negative review except a couple parents who bought them for 11 year olds. But considering the MLG has endorsed them as legit adds a little weight to there support. $79 for a set aint bad. If no one really speaks up with real facts besides "Gimmick" then I'll buy a set and write a review for OCN myself.

P.S. Beers, have you used them? Cause saying "gimmick" But not providing any hard facts, like how long you used them, what style, and when. Really means nothing.

Honestly I don't believe that they work. I tried a pair of a friend of mine and it made my eyes get tired more rapidly. Maybe it needs some time to get used. I have the exactly same problem as you do and I'm thinking of going to a specialized ophthalmologist and get a proper pair of glasses.

That's a point alot of reviewers mention. It's not a instant "wow this is awesome" item. Most said they had to spend a couple hours and by then they did not even noticed they had them on. It's also a sizing thing too, to large and it does not do the micro-environment they talk about. I'm speaking off all the reviews. Hopefully people who own a set and invested some decent time trying them will poke in. I'm heading off to sleep. I'll check back in the morning, and see what everyone thinks.

Plus I don't like the yellow ambience color that they give....

i went from being skeptical to wearing them almost every time im in front of a computer which is alot. I got them to help me with the eye fatigue screens cause me after my lasik surgery. It might just be the antiglare coating im sure they have that my glasses also had. Whatever it is they work for me. Im going to get a second pair for work. After a couple of days you dont notice the yellow either.

Yea, just like sunglasses or skiing glasses. You don't even notice after a while. I don't like them for gaming, but I love the zoom and wearting them when I am codeing or doing e-mail at work.

I've bought a pair. Will do a full write up when I get them and test them out.
