Thermal pads aren't too expensive. If you're dead set on the EVGA block, pick it up and check when it's delivered, or (as tiborrr said) pick up an EK block which is guaranteed to come with everything you need.

My personal vote is for the EK block thumb.gif

Supposedly, the waterblock EVGA had custom built for them by Swiftech, is the best watercooling block made for these cards.

I've known for quite a while that there is a disparity between the cooling performance of these blocks vs. the low amount of waterflow through them.

Since Nvidia has made at least 2 versions of these GTX590 base cards, I've been having quite a bit of a problem deciding what block to order for the pair that I own.

I ordered one block that doesn't fit my cards, but may fit other people's cards.

I've sent an e-mail to EVGA with the P/N of the cards I own so they can determine that these B-stock blocks will fit my specific cards.

I certainly hope so. I've been asking them if they had any of their new blocks for sale with no reply. Hopefully they'll answer this time.

The EVGA Forum is just about the most worthless Forum I've ever tried to get help from. It's populated by a pack of raving EVGA fanboyz that can't answer even the simplest questions without going into a flaming rampage about how perfect EVGA is, and that any problem, either mine or anyone elses, is most assuredly because of user error since the sun itself shines out of EVGA's ....... and whatever the item, it cannot possibly be at fault. Even if EVGA themselves recalled a product for a manufacturers error.
