I stand by MX-4. It performs the same as MX-3, but MX-4 is easier to apply.. it spreads easily when you slap the heatsink on it. MX-3 does not, there's comparison videos around here somewhere...

seems like they need to make a easy apply or thermal paste warmer(if that makes any sense) for this kind of thing.
