Program to change brightness on video files easy and quick?

Hi!

Was wondering if there is a program you can use to change brightness on video files permanently? I watch movies on my android tablet, and some video files are really dark and there is no way to change brightness on the video file on android media players. Is there a quick way to do this on win7? Like, load the video file, change brightness, then save the file again? Sorry, I am noob at this. MKV files by the way.

Yes, I also asked about that on XDA forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568922
But doesn't seem like anyone knows. On VLC media player on windows you can adjust brightness on the file itself (can make screen completely white or black, and adjust it to look a bit brighter), but no one on android it seems.
