[PC Gamer] Now you can pay £32 to unlock everything in Battlefield 3 - Page 13

This + unlocks in a reasonable amount of time. If you can unlock everything in about a month, playing an hour or two a day, that would be OK, but if it's like an old MMO where you can grind for years and still not have the best gear, that would be a step backwards.

Bleh! People get mad from getting killed no matter what. I had someone call me a noob for killing him with my M9 and he had an A-91. We were face to face! D:

Er, no.

Cheapened out that I worked on those unlocks and someone else buys them. It cheapens the act of WORKING for them.

Your trolling attempts are a complete failure.

Not better or worse. One person will tell you the an-94 sucks. One will show you a vid of how they rape people with it. That person will say the AEK sucks, but then that first person will show you a vid of how they rape people with it.
If the unlocks were like some steady stairway to getting a jump on someone who doesn't have whatever latest unlock you have then okay, there'd be a problem.
As it stands, the very first weapons you start out with in your class are 100% capable of giving you success even if you never used another weapon ever again.

I challenge one person to attempt to try and tell me why the AN-94 is "better" than the M16.
Anyone want to attempt to explain why the M240 is "better" than the M27?

Yes they do and you're completely ignorant if you continue to tell people that. All this thread has been tonight is you hammering out the same rhetoric that is completely wrong and off the mark.

There are more than just the rifles and pistols and they give an advantage over a stock level 1 player and upwards. Grenade Launchers, Rocket launchers. MAV, SOFLAM, defibrillator, not to mention the grips and sights for the individual guns which affect their performance to say the least.

You are a complete troll and it's starting to get frustrating watching you troll the site.

So it basically comes down to the fact that your unlocks are basically bragging rights to you.
For someone to be able to attain said unlocks without work* removes your bragging rights and therefore cheapens the value of your e-peen.
I see how this could be a problem for some lol.
*You call it work, I call it play.
I guess that's the difference in our view.
You see unlocks as trophies. I see them as my rewards for playing the game.
Trophies are only good for showing off to others. Trophies lose value when everyone has one.
Rewards are more personal and arent affected by other people also getting them as the pleasure comes from simply getting the reward.

You don't know the first thing about me, so stop trying to make out you do.

I see someone with 3 seats available in a tank, or the armour upgrades and think "man that guys worked hard for that".

All that is pretty much wrong just like everything else you've posted in this thread.

Good night.

Except for the part where you confirm my exact sentiments in your second sentence?

Looks like I am reconing in the bush again, taking people out with my pew pew snipes.

Its all the same to me what you want to "pay" for in your game, but it IS sad.  The whole point of the unlocks was to make it challenging and a achievement, not later on whole sale.

Why don't I pay someone to power level my guy for me while I am at it?  Why not pay someone else to beat the game for me, while I sit on my bum eating Cheetos.  Oh well, to each his own.

BF3 is still a disappointment for me.
