Yeah the second someone gets in the air who doesn't have jet unlocks, they're toast.

I know frown.gif I was in a tank earlier getting hounded by two Heli's with guided missiles (I think that's what they were using, they were locking on). It was almost impossible to move!

I'll agree that the vehicle unlocks are one thing that do give quite an advantage. However, you still won't be able to jump straight into a vehicle and expect to do well. You'll have some better features and you may die a bit slower, but a bad tank driver is still a bad tank driver, even with reactive armor or guided missiles. Jets and helicopters would be even less a problem since they take even more experience to pilot. Can't really jump in one and expect to get a bunch of kills. You'll either crash or get taken out by a more experienced pilot.

I think it's better to unlock by experience because it builds up suspense when you're close to unlocking a gun, and then after using the gun for a while, you either think "ZOMG, A-M-ZING MASCHINE GUHN" or "FTW, Y GUN NO GIT DAR KILLSTREEK". I just like it that way.

Which still proves my point that there is an advantage to the unlocks and that won't apply to everyone anyway. Buying your way forward to buying a skip ahead is ridiculous and not a good direction for the industry frown.gif I think that's my biggest complaint with the advantage being a side thing. Spending real money to skip stuff or buy advantages...real money frown.gif on a game that's already been paid for.

Publishers are the bane of a developer's existence. Many games have flopped simply because of pressure from developers, and unreasonable deadlines, causing developers to release an incomplete and unfinished product- All Points Bulletin comes to mind.

There are plenty of levels in BF3 that are not cod like metro, such as caspian border, kharg island and the btk maps. The problem is metro is the most played map, thats why crap like CQC is coming out. Don't blame EA or DICE but blames the disgusting community that plays these maps. These are the same people that complain m320s and rockets are OP; well if all you play is metro of course it is.

Even buying the unlocks wouldn't have helped you unless u have guided shells along with a soflam/ man in citv station to go along with it and even then the heli could have probably gotten the first strike. The people in the AA and jets were not doing their job simple as that

What about OCNs precious tf2 with its hat and weapon warehouse, these things give advantages as well and some of em you will never unlock no matter how much time you sink in and can only be obtained with money.

Because they are using the argument of not having a certain gun as an excuse for their lack of skill. EA actually did a smart move here, there were always a bunch of complainers even on OCN who said the unlocks were unfair and made it impossible for a new player. Now EA can hustle 40$ from people who would pay for this and they can still proceed to get their butt handed to them by veteran players.

You get TF2 for free, so Valve makes money off the new objects and nothing else...See where that comparison dies?

I paid for TF2 frown.gif Wish I could lift it off my account. One of the worst, hyped up games, in my opinion.
