What is your maximum budget? Ideal: $600-$800 Max: $1000

What country are you in? US

What will be the uses of this laptop? Word Processing, Surfing the web, work, home entertaintment (movies and light games) and some home video creation.

Do you have brand loyalty or care which brands we select for you? Brands arent an issue

What screen size do you require? > 15"

What screen resolution do you require? A good picture, nothing specific

Are you looking to buy NEW or would refurbished/recertified/used be okay? New preffered, but open for ideas

How long should the battery last? (Under optimal conditions, no movies/games/heavy internet) Open for ideas

What games would you like to play with your laptop? And on what settings? Not really a concern

What operating system do you need? (if any) Windows 7 at least

Is there a certain style of laptop you want? (aluminum, black, gaming, etc.) Open for ideas

How much hard drive space do you need? 500GB would be fine

Do you need any special hardware? (blue ray, webcam, specialty ports, etc.) webcam would be nice

I have bought the lenovo ideapad Y470p, for the price of 749~799 you can get an i7 2.2ghz, 8gb ram, 750GB hdd, ATI 7690M 1GB. the deal was so sweet i had to buy three of them biggrin.gif

you have mentioned that you require a 15"+ screen, sadly the Y470p has a 14" inch screen, for me 14" isnt bad and i can bare with it.

GL choosing the right laptop
