Just bought (CoolIT VANTAGE A.L.C.). Is it good?

I know this is kind of the question you ask before but it had good reviews so i thought i'd give it a try.

I'm asking you guys if anyone is using this or had experience in using it (good / bad)?

Link to it (http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=580933#extra) It's only like 60$ so it's no biggie.
I'm also considering purchasing another set of 120mm fans that could increase the cooling.

150

Update

I should mention i'm going to use it on a 8120 FX / Sabretooth 990 board.
I also choose the closed loop type because i'm new to liquid and i wan't to minimize risk to do anything wrong.

We haven't been able to source this item for well over a year, possibly even two now, and all correspondence with CoolIT has gone unanswered. Back when we used to carry it, we did hear several horror stories about them leaking and spraying some sort of fire extinguisher-esque foamy coolant all over users' machines. Complaints such as these seemed to be noticeably more prevalent with these as compared to similar products such as the Kuhler series by Antec or the Hydro series by Corsair. Personally, it's not something I'd risk, considering it seems difficult (or impossible) to actually contact the manufacturing company.

Thank you, took it off order right away.

Sure thing! If you're looking for something similar, both the Kuhler and Hydro series I mentioned before are excellent options. thumb.gif

Coolit has merged or is now a oem providor for Corsair, they have backed out of the retail market completely as part of the agreement..

Where does this leave all the people that bought their Omni ALC and Vantage units? a lot of people feel they got the "shaft" as they were promised a product that was never delivered ( Coolit was in the middle of developing a software similar to the software used on the Corsair units to monitor fan rpm and pump ), and since then, been discontinued... or maybe it's just rebranded to Corsair..

You can expect absolute ZERO support from Coolit if anything were to go wrong... I wouldnt risk using that, if I can return it, I would.. or I'd rather suck it up, take the loss and buy a Corsair, at least I know they will help me if the thing blows up in my system.
