Regardless of a small price difference, which is better? Better yet, is there a similarly priced cooling system that will lower my max temps more than either of these?

H100 is far better AFAIK.
According to this bench the V10 isn't even better than a 212+

H100 for sure.
The Hyper 212 beats up the V-6, V-8 and V-10 with the right fan config and it's only $30.

Think I'm gonna go with the Rasa 750. That thing is bad-ass for the same price as the H100. I'm not new to liquid cooling, and that's still a simple kit.

The H100 may get you a couple degrees cooler temps over some of the highend HSFs. You could however purchase a Xigmatek Aegir 128264 at considerably lower cost, ($67) and get the same or better performance as the H100 by adding a second fan - $7. to the Aegir which lowers load temps 5-6C more than the single fan. This will result in better cooling, a lower cost and lower noise compared to the H100 even with a 345w thermal load and a HSF never leaks water that can destroy valuable PC hardware as CLCs can and do.

As always - I suggest that people Buy What Makes THEM Happy as long as they know the pros and cons of the various options.
