AMD AVT folder and kdbsync.exe

Thread Starter
I got this with the newest 12.3 RC modded drivers.

I know its AMD Advanced Video Transcoding technology, but I would still like to know what kdbsync.exe is exactly. This happens during start up only!

What's the fix for this? Thanks!

Thanks. But where does it state a fix? The information is pretty misleading. Don't detailed enough for me to figure out. I know the MSCONFIG but what needs to be unchecked or what needs to be removed from start up.

type msconfig in search programs and files on the start button menu, then go to startup tab and disable the process.

I did this, and the error has stopped appearing: Locate the kdbsync.exe file under the programs (x86) folder. (just use search from there).
Right click it and "run as administrator." Also, open Catalyst Control Center, and under the video section, Select AMD video converter. Then, tick the box named Hardware Acceleration. I don't know for sure if either of those did it, but after 6 restarts with that annoying message, those are the 2 changes I made, and it's gone away.
