Really? Because Intel's CPU's put AMD's bottle necking faildozer I've done some homework on to shame.
One can also say the same about AMD fanboys. If it's got the red logo their sold regardless of issues. It's all relative.

im not saying they don't stomp all over ati/amd I'm just saying their prices are stupidly high especially intel. but if i had the money id get them in a heart beat. I agree AMD fanboys will buy anything with an AMD logo but in their defense it wont force them to take a second mortgage on their homes.

If they priced it at $350 they destroy their own market. All of their 5xx series cards are dead. Why would they do that to themselves? It will never happen.

Man...I'm jumping from 580 Classy Ultra SLI to reference 680 SLI and you guys are making me feel like I should click the "cancel" step-up button on EVGA. I wanted to wait for the FTW 680...but now you guys makes me want to wait even longer...and I hate waiting...

All Nvidia did is copy AMD's strategy from back in the 4 series of releasing a small died card.

The thing I disagree with is that AMD took the Nvidia road and produced a big card. While the 7970 is larger then the 680 and draws slightly more power in the whole scheme of things it's still a small die chip.

Honestly I applaud both these moves. I owned 480s and they were a pain in the butt the entire time owning them. You end up spending more money just to cool the things properly. Both the 7970/680 on air make it hard to break 80 degrees even when massively OC'd. In BF3 I top out around 77 degrees with a 1250 OC. I'll take that.

Both companies could have made a huge hot better performing card if they wanted to end of story.

It doesn't make sense to me why i should pay almost 40% more when I live in the same country where these things are produced. Logistics of shipping these things from China to the USA means you should be paying more but alas. Oh well, when the bubble bursts it'll be Americans paying the most.
It is kind of ripping us off, not by just one store but all the retailers here including nvidea. The Nvidea recommended price for selling the gtx 680 in China is still 30% more than that in the USA. It's just wrong. The wages here are way lower too.
Saying 'that's just the way of the world' isn't really an explanation of justification. War is also 'just the way of the world' but that doesn't make it right.

ask a friend in the factory to buy it for you. but in you system the workers can buy the products of the factory they work ? and be happy. off topic
