Thats the spirit. When I get it in the next week probably I will run some benchmarks so you guys can see just how much the 1gb of ram and the 3400+ are slowing it down.

I think your board must support SLI, which only Epox makes/made a 754 SLI board.

Fortunately for me you do not need SLI support in order to run this card even in dual GPU mode.

i'd rather go with a 1900xtx, since it's only 420, (OEM), and it outperform the 7900 gtx. but anyways who would buy an OEM gcard, so yeah, better stick with a 7900 GTX

Well your system would be fine with one. However it will bottlneck rather abit with that CPU of yours also..The GX2 is nothing special really..I would think a single X1900XT would be good enough.

Enterprise: He wants to upgrade to DX10 in a few months, along with a full blown Core 2 Duo rig. He's now getting this card, so he can use eVGA step-up, and just for bragging rights

Why would you do that?#1 You still yet don't know if g80 will be worth it compared to r600.
#2 G80 will be overpriced till there is competition in dx10.

You don't know how the cards will perform 1vthe other. Save yourself the trouble. Get the core2duo rig now and then get the dx10 card you were talking about.

I am most likely getting the Core 2 Duo rig before DX10 or right after it comes out.
