Why on earth would you choose those two? Those are more budget minded, and at that price range, Biostar and Asrock gives superior options at the same or lower price point.

Scratch that, I should be more objective.

Also, what size do you want your setup to be?

There are limited options in the itx/matx space.

Since we're basing this on speculation, mind filling out any other components you have? Such as a case, or monitor or keyboards?

With such a high budget, OCN could setup a proper build for you with a mechanical keyboard, 1440p monitor and all sorts of other trimmings.

One is mATX, one is ATX. Are you going to SLI/CF? Do you prefer mATX?

Just looking at those two motherboards, I would say Gigabyte. Overall uses better components than ASUS and allows the possibility of 3 way CF. UD3H isn't expensive based on historical Gigabyte pricing.

Yes indeed they do. A biostar board that was going for $120 could take any i5/i7 to 5ghz and had space for sli and cost less with the same features as many other boards.

Asrock is also known for very high quality for low price. Just see the community, they do indeed last. Most people buy more than they need.

Biostar's extreme series is always a good option, as well as Asrocks extreme series. For a very small price they offer quite a bit of content.

Alright interesting choices. There's quite a bit of a community to the case you bought, and that is a purely personal choice.

The psu seems totally unnecessary, depending on what you're going to be doing.

So you've spent $632.

You should leave the rest of that $1000 to motherboard and cpu.

Now I realize I might be hated to high hell for this, but might I suggest investing in some good peripherals? You never realize that these little things really matter. I suggest you reserve some money for such things as cable management and a good keyboard. These things truly matter at the end of the day.

So I'd say for misc, reserved $ 150

That leaves you $350 for a gpu. Which I'm sure the gtx 670 may be in the price range for.

I'd say checkout the OCN market place for a lot of stuff. If you just intend on gaming, you might even want to pickup sandy bridge since it will do nothing for you to have Ivy. Gpu's go for a great price there right now.

Look into purchasing these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823129002

http://www.amazon.com/Black-Mechanical-Keyboard-Wired-Adapter/dp/B000ZD1L14/ref=pd_cp_e_0

read this: http://www.overclock.net/t/491752/mechanical-keyboard-guide

Also think about investing in a fan controller on newegg, and look into sleeved cable extensions to tidy your case up and give a good look.

Do you have a display yet btw?
