A 240+240 or 280+240 will be fine....although your area can certainly get warm in the summer, lol.

Nevermind. Even though the case has 2x 120mm fans up front, I have a feeling that with the holes for the barbs on a rad....that a rad won't fit up front, even with HDD bay removal.

If you're willing to molest your case a bit more and only need 2 of the 5.25" bays you could probably cut into the bottom of the 5.25" bay stack to give room for the barbs and tubing...

I thought about that...but then I'd have to way to get from the rad back up into the res. I'm stuck here. Plus I would REALLY like to keep all 3 5.25 bays. I could use an external DVDRW if I had to, but I really like my internal one.

Looks like the best option might be the 240 external rad option then. I don't think just a 280 would even close to cut it alone, especially with overclocks.

Wouldn't you be able to put in the 280, and two 120s? One in the front (should have plenty of room for barbs) and one on the exhaust? One note, the Phantom 410 has two 120 fan spots in the front, but I was unable to mount a 120 rad up in the front, and here's why. Mounting it barbs up on the lower fan slot didn't work because the radiator was a bit two tall, so the fan holes didn't line up (2 mm or so off, the bottom of the case got in the way, as the radiator had to be a bit lower), and barbs down in the top fan slot didn't work either because this time the 5.25" bays got in the way (radiator had to be a bit higher). This orientation was closer (within a mm), but I couldn't quite get it to work, hence the modding of my middle HDD cage.

I decided to take a second look, and it is REALLY close as far as fitting in the upper fan slot. I just figured you might want to know that getting a radiator of any kind in the front might require some light modding, due to the radiators being a bit too tall (most 120mm radiators are the same height too). Good luck! And be patient!

Radiators would be too close if he tried mounting a 280 up top to fit a 120 on the back. Having a 120 on the front is a good idea, however.

So then perhaps a 240 and two 120s rather than a 280 and potentially one 120? I suppose the choices are limitless depending on your skills with a dremel and a drill. wink.gif

The other question is, what about just getting a different case? Or is this more of a "I want to use this case for watercooling simply because I can," sort of deal? I know that was my logic with my case. tongue.gif

No, I just want a nice SLEEK case for my new build. I hate my Beta Evo, its too "gamey" looking. I want something sleek and elegant looking. The Source 210 is fine, so are the Fractal Midi and R3's. I already own a Source 210 though, so I was wanting to re use what I already had.

But no, a 240mm rad won't fit up front, not without cutting into the 5.25 bays, which I can't do. My res and DVDRW have to go there. frown.gif And dual 120's won't work either, as it won't fit on the rear spot, not with a 240 or 280 up top.

Bear with me here. You said you wanted sleek, but what about a 120mm fan on the inside of the case on the exhaust, and then putting the radiator and fan on the outside of the case, yet still screwed into the fan on the inside? My other thought is what about a 120mm radiator with barbs toward the side panel on the bottom next to the PSU? Or could you possibly fit a 240 in there if you dremel out the bottom of your HDD mounts?
