Slow goings, but finally a small update!
I finally finished my second set of PCIe cables. Now I just need to do my SATA and MOLEX cables, and the dreaded 24pin!

Looking good man, can't wait to see the 24pin. Like the color of the sleeve and the shrink looks WAY better on the MDPC-X job than the cord. Practice right?

These cables you sleeved, are they the default seasonic cables or are they just extensions?

I plan on using paracord to sleeve my Seasonic and you have a great thread showing what it would look like, so subbed for an awesome work log!!

Also to add, the measurements in the front page of the thread for sleeving lengths, this gives me a rough guestimate on how much paracord to buy/use, but I will be omitting the use of shrink.
Are these pretty accurate? If they are good job....

Also again sorry for all the questions, I've heard horror stories about sleeving this particular psu, is it that bad.
There are ultimately different routes to take when sleeving a psu, these are mine.
1. Have MODDIY have them do it for me, for a pretty penny of course.
2. Sleeve cable extension I currently have*cheaper, but I don't know how the paracord will contrast with the stock NZXT sleeve on the extensions.
3. Buy a cable set from George at this website that makes OEM seasonic cables and sleeve them*for cheap* and then sleeve that..
Number 3 is what I plan on doing, so I can have a spare set of cables laying around, but I am just afraid that if I break pins or what ever I would have a pita replacing it and re-crimping the pins.

Number 3 is what I plan on doing, so I can have a spare set of cables laying around, but I am just afraid that if I break pins or what ever I would have a pita replacing it and re-crimping the pins.

There is also option 4: Create your own custom cables by buying wire, connectors, a stripper, and crimpers. Not sure what the cost of cables from George is, but if you have the time, patience, and want a perfectly clean looking build both in front, and behind the mobo, making your own cables is the way to go. This is my plan, though at this rate, my build will take a year to finish, as life has put it all on hold for now.

I originally planned on just sleeving the cables that came with the PSU. However, after having one hell of a time getting the pins out, I gave up, and decided to create custom cables. So, I ordered 18AWG wire, and got pins and an MDPC-X crimper. So the cables I've done so far are custom length cables.

The measurements were pretty accurate for the lengths of the cables that I planned to use.

With that said, how did you go about with the split/spliced cables?
This is my only concern really, I've done wire jobs for Car Audio and R/c stuff.. Soldering is no problem for me it's just I don't want to mess up the polarity of the cables.

With the cable set made by George it'll be like 60 bucks*w/ shipping* for a complete set and I can have the required 8 pin cpu connectors extended, so that for me can be a viable option.

Going with making my own, I was actually thinking about doing that, but again I don't know how you guys went about with the split/spliced parts of the cable.

Edit:
Where did you get the pins?

Well, I haven't done my spliced wires yet. Lutro0, a member here, has a great guide on how to do it that I plan to follow when I get around to it. To splice them you're basically twisting them together at a point that will be hidden behind the mobo, and using a dab of solder to secure them. Then using shrink over that, for a cleaner, neat look.

I got my pins from MDPC-X as well as the crimper, because I heard it is the best quality, though maybe a bit more expensive.
