Get asus gpu tweak, its the easiest way to extend clocks past 1125. You can't with afterburner.

Sleak and simple is the way to go thumb.gif

I think it will look similar and I'm sure MSI will do a great job on it. Looking forward to more MSI custom PCB cards for other 28nm cards.

Obviously the 680 wins in a ton of others but to say performance should be judged on one game I don't buy at all. As far as I can tell you are right that the stock 7970 should be cheaper for sure but I have no issues with the Lightning being more expensive considering these cards can hit up to 1350 and at that point there is not a card on the planet that can touch them. Especially not one with locked voltage.
Lack of dual link is a bad omission but really we should all be moving to display port anyway.

I don't care about "best looking"...

I care about robust engine and functionality, (The frostbite engine has that). Not only that, but the Battlefield franchise are based on series and platforms. I still play BF2142 about 20h/month & BF3 still has 3 more expansion packs comming. Making BF3 benchmarks more significant than most others.

Who buys a Radeon R7970 and doesn't have at least a 30" monitor/multi-monitor setup...  why no dual-link DVI ..?

Also, I agree, the R7970 should be listed @ $469...!  ($30 cheaper than the gtx680)

Um, me? Yeah, I got two of them. Dual link DVI is completely unnecessary if you have a DP monitor like my S27A950D... thumb.gif

By the way, thanks for the tip JTom! Got AB working with full voltage control. Failed at 1200MHz/1200mV though... :/

Do this first since you never had the release drivers on your PC and you need this file.
Then head over to the battle royale thread and rest of the instructions are in OP. Make sure you are on beta 15 to.

Sapphire's Trixxx is working well for me. Simple.

Have fun spending $500 on your 4 active mDP to DVI adapters.

Apple sells them for $29 each and they are active mDP to Dvi DL...

Link?

At that price I'm pretty sure it's SL-DVI and not DL-DVI.

Nvm I am retarded I was mixing up dvi-d and Dvi-I with dl and sl. I am sorry I was tired when I posted. :/

I have 3 of these and i love them (except one was doa and is going back for replacement). I was able to unlock ab and get all voltage control and all. I have had noproblems at all. Did 1125 on stock voltages (1175 with a slight bump but to much heat with the voltages) and could run ram all the way to 1850 on 1.62v.
