Help: Import Contacts from Outlook to Sharepoint/Companyweb?

Thread Starter
Does anyone know how to import a contact list from outlook into sharepoint/companyweb on SBS 2008? Is this even possible? It's going to be a real hassle if I have to type them in manually. I know I can export a list, once it is in sharepoint, but I need to do the opposite. I have searched the web, and can't really find a good answer.

The easiest way might be to use the Datasheet view within SharePoint. You can also use the native "Connect to Outlook" functionality within SharePoint. Once you have SharePoint connected to Outlook you can copy and paste within Outlook.

There is also a third party Outlook add-in called ProperSync for Microsoft Outlook that will sync your contacts directly from Outlook to SharePoint.

*Disclaimer - I am part of the ProperSync team and hope this has been a relevant and useful posting
