I just upgraded my M17x R1 with the processor. I OC'd it via bios to 1250fsb @ 3.3ghz and my temps are excellent. When I go to OC it to 1275fsb laptop tries to boot and once past the bios option it blue screens VERY quickly and reboots. Will continue to loop and it goes so fast I cant see what bsod error im getting. Anyways, my question is...are there limitations in place in my bios? I figured if my temps were at a ok lvl that it would allow me to OC more...is there a breaking point where the bios tells me thats all it will allow? LOL. 2nd question is, can i combine BIOS overclock + Nvidia Performance Tool to squeeze more out of it? Or is it one or the other....I feel I can get to 3.4ghz safely but my bios just doesnt like it. If it's one or the other then i might try just using the Nvidia Tools and see what happens when I go to 3.4 on there. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
