Im a little skeptical about Gizmodo but heres the article:

The sooner the better.
I'd assume Z77 chipset MoBos will launch somewhat prior to CPU launch.

I was hoping and expecting an early April launch, but with no recent word I figured that were just throwing them in the crash and forgetting they were even go to sell them..

I guess we shall see.. If there anything like the recent 680 graphic card release, we wont see the until the end of May

If current ivy performance reviews are true then i will perhaps stick with a 2500k and go for a Z77 board and gtx 680. I'm still suffering from cold boot isues on P67 mad.gif

Just having bought a Biostar TP67XE for $70AR,

I think I'll just wait with my 4.2ghz 955 for Ivy... What particular gains would I see in waiting for Ivy's 3570k over 2500k? Maybe a few hundred megahertz at slightly lower temperatures with a 10-15% gain?

If there's more than that... I might consider definitely waiting. Otherwise... I'm not sure... I can just pop down $193 after tax @ microcenter for i5-2500k tomorrow =o
