Best GPU to get? (£250 budget)

Yeah so just looking for a little bit of assistance. I'm going to be buying a graphics card and I'm looking for something a little bit more powerful than my current graphics card. I would like something that can almost max out Battlefield 3. Also, I have two monitors if that makes any difference.

What would be the best option?

Thanks in advance.

GTX570.

You should be able to run Battlefield 3 on pretty high settings as long as you're playing on resolutions no bigger than about 1920x1200.

Okay that's what I was thinking . May I ask what make of 570 is considered the best? Like I'm looking at a EVGA one right now but there are like loads of different makes and I'm confused.

I second the 570. Runs everything I throw at it at a minimum of 60FPs without OCing. (excluding benchmarks.)

EVGA for the warranty
ASUS and MSI for the Overclockability

if you going to use two screens go for a card like the 570 which will have a hdmi and dvi to scart adapter or a hdmi , so you dont limmit your choices if incase you wanted of third screen. also if you want to go lower budget the 480 to 490 are viable option escepcially if you buy one secound hand . i havnt heard many tales in which people have bought faulty secound hand gpu , but see what others say

The 570 or 6950 would be great. The GTX 480 goes on sale from time to time as well. I play BF3 maxed out on a GTX 480 which is almost identical to the performance of a 570. Just a little more power used.

Get a GTX570, and keep the old 4850 to run the second display, or something else cheap. It keeps temps down on the main GPU.

According to this you should buy a 7870.

It's a little over budget however, so the 570 would be your best option.
