Need Help With Compatibility for Different Browsers.

post #1 of 3
Thread Starter
Hi guys. I am building a website for a campground for bikers. I have run into a major problem while doing this. In some older browsers, things are not where they are supposed to be. Here is a link to the website. Today after going to the website on an old computer running XP and an unupdated version of IE, I noticed that the logo at the top co insides with the top part of the body.

I would like some assistance in this. If anyone would be interested in helping me, I will be ever grateful. Feel free to PM me, email me at corgon67@gmail.com or skype me- dumplingman50

Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.

Just about to head out the door, I can help you later. But just at a quick glance, I can see that a couple of your resources aren't being loaded.

You'll want to change:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="html5.js"></script>

to:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript" src="js/html5.js"></script>

If that's some kind of html5 parser script for legacy IE stuff, you might get lucky and it will end up taking care of the incompatibility.

If not... I'll be back later tonight if you still haven't resolved it.

Good luck.

<!--[if lt IE 9]>
<script src="http://html5shim.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/html5.js"></script>
<![endif]-->
