200-300 on the GPU. The motherboard can be any price set though.

well if youre looking for a nvidia gpu you could get a 560ti 448 core or a 570 in that price range. ATI you could get a 6970.

for motherboard I always recommend the asus p8z68-v pro gen3. it's a really popular board, great for overclocking and very reliable. asrock makes good z68 boards in the $200 price range as well.

Thanks. What kind of heatsink would you recommend? I'm going to OC the I5 to 4.5GHz.

1) I'd say no on the Vengeance RAM because those heatsinks are ridiculous. Try some of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231546

2) Heatsink - Thermalright True Spirit 140

the noctua nh-d14 is an excellent air cooler. it is pretty much silent so you wont hear it sitting at your desk. this heatsink is massive though.

some people like me have a window on their case so i wanted my heatsink to look more sleek since people lookinside my case a lot. if you want a CLC you could get an h80 or h100 (you would have to make sure your case is compatible with the h100. im on my phone so it would take me awhile to check) the CLC coolers are louder then the noctua cooler but they look nicer IMO. so you would probably have to spend more money on a couple quieter noctua fans.

it all comes down to personal preference really.

if he likes the look of the vengeance heatsink i don't think it really matters.

EDIT: oh and now that I see your case the H100 is compatible with it if you even want to go for that cooler.

Also, would this be able to record gaming at say, 30FPS?
