Is there any way to keep the evga 680 backplate mounted when ATTII is installed?

A few little zip ties does the trick

Thanks!
Actually the 4 main screws that hold the ATTII mounting bracket hold the backplate just fine.

Also, use the included glue / compound mix. Don't use tape (things were falling off with the akasa thermal tape, the glue seems to work x1000 better for me).

You can just use the Backplate. I have a Zotac GTX 680 4GB and ordered a EVGA Backplate with it. Hes is some photos of it.

I used some M2.5 nuts to attach the backplate. I did the same on my old 580 which also had a EVGA Backplate.

Anyone knows if Arctic Cooling Xtreme Plus I with VR004 is compatible with GTX 660 TI?
VR004 uses 58.4x58.4mm for GTX 480, GTX 570 GTX 580.
I have this cooler from GTX 560 TI and im thinking to buy a GTX 660 TI.
In official website this product is descontinued, but i really want to sure about compatibility with new Kepler card,

Do you use alternate compound or you use the glue attached in the cooler's box?

And i thought the Fan Speed Control didn't work, but it does work. Just none of the programs are able to properly read the RPM anymore. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Why is there tape on the backplate?

Anyway did you use tape below vrm/mem and then place the sinks on those? Double sided tape?
Thickness?

Since no one bothered to reply Ill ask another question -

CAN YOU MOUNT THE REFERENCE COOLER BACK ON THE PCB IF **** WOULD HIT THE FAN?

And how much of that mixing glue thingie do you get? Is it alot or just a very small amount?

Question guys the pre applied thermal. is it supposed to be so much? I mean its much bigger than the gpu surface shiny thingy.

Quick reply please Im currently waiting for my heatsinks to dry and I need to know if I can scrape some of the thermal grease off the cooler or if it should let it be. IS IT NON CONDUCTIVE?
