Someone over at Hardforums reports that the black spacers that come with the TT II work fine. That would be nice if they did. OP you mentioned that they didn't. Do you know why yours didn't but his seemed to work ok?

Yeah I heard, well for me it felt like they really loose not screwed in so maybe when screwed in the fit perfectly. But the 3mm ones work also.

Aw OK got it. Now should I put mine on or not :-) The memory I will not put heat sinks on. Memory doesn't need it. But the VRM's do. The include stuff that comes with the TT 2 is garbage. I tried that before let it sit for like 24 hours then turn my card upright and they all fell right off. I bought some thermal tape that I might try....

Yeah that's what I hate also about the G1 Themal Glue it doesn't stick.

 

 

What I did was I turned my PC upside down so that once I put the GPU in and load it up it will heat up the memory vrms and then it should stick.

I got an email response back from Arctic Cooling. They actually sent me a revised instructions install sheet with the 680 added. And for those who are wondering its the black spacers you use.....I ordered some thermal tape from FrozenPc to use on the VRMS and memory heat sinks. It was like $2 a square. But I bet it will be much easier to put on then that dam glue crap...

That glue has worked fine for the add-on heatsink package that I ordered from Arctic cooling...Not sure what your talking about... I actually just glued on like 5 more heatsinks to my 580's PCB plate with that glue. I didn't know cure time was 5 hours...that helps me out.
