Issues with my card

Thread Starter
okay my card is about 2 months old now. its a MSI n550gtx-ti Cyclone OC. for some reason at randoms times it gets stuck at half clocks and i have to restart my computer and then it is fixed. bad card? I have tried to bring it to stock clocks which are 950/1900/2150@1.1v my overclock is 1060/2120/2425@1.15v but even at stock clocks this happens. Have ran Kombuster for 3.5 hours weeks ago and have been running several benching tools in the meantime no artifacting. just in the dark as to what could be wrong.

The nvidia driver force the clock to half-clocks if it detects that it is unstable. If your card is advertised at a certin clock rate and it starts doing this, then you need to contact MSI's tech support. If they have you load different sets of drivers, and it still is giving you problems, then you have a bum card that needs to be RMA. But you're in luck. MSI allows advanced RMA, meaning that they will ship you out a new card if you pay for it, then they will refund you what you paid after they receive the RMA card.

MSI's Customer Support and Tech Service is real decent.
