Intel SRT question

Will having my ssd in a sata 2 port negatively affect the cache system compared to having the ssd in sata 3 port? I have a Samsung 830 64gb ssd..and it is sata 3. I cant plug 2 sata 3 cables on top of each other because I have the sata cables that are straight on one side and a right angle on the other end...which I find really stupid. I will be getting a new sata cable that is straight on both ends. Anyways, can anyone confirm if having the ssd in sata2 port will make SRT slower? Thanks smile.gif

Note: the SRT works amazingly well regardless, but I am just curious.
