Sb95500's First attempt at a design on a Case Mod.

I've been browsing the "Case Mods" section of Overclock's website for some time now, and I wanted to try my hand at this case modding business. I have only one case, being the NZXT Phantom, so I have nothing to work with currently. I thought about what I could to do to obtain a spare case, or something along those lines, but I happen to be a college student with no money and no tools. I forgot that i had Google Sketchup on my PC, and i'm no expert with it as you can clearly see in the photos, but hey I think I have a basic design down. I wanted to have a computer with a top mounted PSU, and I also wanted it to have liquid cooling. I chose to make a way to mount the radiators outside of the case, and that's what the "wings" are on the side of the case. I angled it all back slightly so it wasn't just a silly box with wings. I'm still trying to figure out a way to fit some acrylic on here somewhere so you would be able to see inside of this case. Also currently debating whether I should just try to make the entire case out of acrylic or not. I know there's no slots, measurements for PCI slots, or anything along those lines, because this is what i've just done in my spare time when i'm not studying or doing homework. Just let me know what you think, input is welcomed and greatly appreciated! thumb.gif

It would be pretty cool imo, if at the back of the two "wings" there were slots for dual 480 radiators... for watercooling.

Also, if the mod had more of a theme. I could imagine a Mass Effect Build here where you colored it purple, addes a red light, and gave it a purple reaper theme.

Yeah that's what I intended them for, one radiator per wing smile.gif But I like the Mass Effect Reaper idea!
