My max ambient is probly 18C and i have the fan fixed at 85%, also have crazy airflow in my case. Just below my cards intake is a 120mm/below and to the right a 120mm/to the right a 120mm/and above the intake a 230mm side intake. Plus another intake, plus plush/pull cpu fans, plus two exhaust fans.
Yes its pretty loud. lol
I havent done any hard core gaming for long periods of time yet so dont know if that is my max temp. I.E i havent played BF3... Yet.
The only games ive had on since i got the card only use about 40-50% power at stock settings and stay below 40C.
Plus i see no point in gaming above 60fps so always have target frame rate. I am trying to work out if target frame rate, vsync or adaptive is best at the minute.

Why is your Min FPS so low? Mine was at 30 when running +90 / 185.

The min FPS seem pretty random. I can't speak for him, but mine range from 19-35 and it's always from the first few seconds of Heaven running where the low occurs.

I wish they had a graph of FPS over time as it would be more indicative of where the true minimum is unless the beginning is really the most intensive portion of the test.

Dont know but was just the first second of the bench starting. After that it was fine.

It does AFAIK. It's not the voltage setting on the main screen... but rather in the main settings screen after hitting the settings button. It definitely restricts power just fine, I'd have to do more testing to see how well it works with increases because I havent been able to get more than a 110% power draw very often.

As for fan profiles, what I usually do is just fine the loudest available setting im willing to tolerate and ramp up to that pretty quickly. Also keep in mind that (at least eVGA) cards only go up to 85% fan right now. Youll have to unlock 100% fan speed later!

It was said in some other thread, to only press the button to bench the card, after the 2nd scene loads in Heaven 3 during the initial program demo.

For some reason the card has to get used to the program for a few seconds before a more stable bench readout is possible.

It sounds quite stupid, but I tried it and it works.

I guess that it's just a little quirk of the program.

Thanks! I will try it out. This just makes it a meaningless stat to me then.

The avg is very consistent and the max is usually within 2-3%, but the minimum is all over the place.

No, you justh ave to wait the first 5 seconds and then you start it. But this depends on how ****ty ones computer is in regards to loading things. I.e. harddrive. My Unigine runs on an SSD so the initial "fps drops" are only there for the first 5 seconds of load. Then I run the benchmark and my min fps ends up being 30.

I know that. But afterburner resets the Power Target when PC has been rebooted, the application has been rebooted, if you click Reset on the clocks etc.
And it seems to do nothing anyway. My Power % goes up to 106% without the slider even touched.
