My Unigine runs on an SSD so the initial "fps drops" are only there for the first 5 seconds of load. Then I run the benchmark and my min fps ends up being 30.

Same. I'm on a Crucial M4. So, the lag in the beginning is due to the SSD? No matter what I try, I've only had one successful run over 40fps even though I never see it dip below 60-70 afterwards.

And it seems to do nothing anyway. My Power % goes up to 106% without the slider even touched.

The slider isn't for how much is going to be used, it's for how much CAN be used thumb.gif I also don't get much higher than 110% in Heaven 3.0 either. It depends on the application, try something else and it should be more noticeable. The Crysis Warhead bench gives me some nice spikes.

I know, but does anyone know the reason why I cant get Heaven stable @ +90 on core?

I had a similar question (see below) but it seem to have been glossed over. I'll ask again. Does anyone know why power increases pass the 100% mark even though you did not change the settings (see my spikes below). I left all settings stock and power jumped.

Now, I know the card is dynamic, but nowhere have I read or seen where the power settings is dynamic without creating a manual offset. I know the Core Clock is dynamic and that's build into the stock settings, but I have not seen this for the Power settings. Does anyone have any insight on this? What's your thoughts? I'm going to see what Evga or Nvidia has to say about this.

That is by design >.>; It's not a hard limit, just a guideline.

[edit] If you want to see higher power %s, try graphic test 1 in 3dmark 11. Despite what others try to say, its much better than unigine for maxing out the hardware, and unarguably does a better job of drawing power.

So what numbers are you guys actually hitting for OC's? I'm a little upset as I get driver crashes running 3dmark11 at 135 or higher. I run the test at +132% Power Target, +134 GPU Clock, +500 Mem Clock. Going above 135 ends up crashing the driver, and going to 520 on mem gives artifacts and eventually crashes. So this is the max I've gotten. And with my fan curve, the GPU temp never goes above 67 even while stress testing...

For everyday gaming I set it to 132%/+130/+400.

When you game do you have GPU-Z up? If you monitor your stats after gaming, look at the 'max ' core clock. Mine after Crysis hit 1205 MHz and my OC was +132/+110/+275. It over clocked itself higher when needed.

Yeah I hit around 1280-something. I scored a 17050 in sli on a 2600k with 8x/8x sli but I remember the pre-launch benchmarks showed higher oc capabilities on these cards.

1280MHz Core is beyond average, you should be proud of your card. wink.gif

Every card does different Core clocks at same Offset numbers (For example +150MHz can do 1250MHz for one card and maybe 1220MHz for another card).

Both of mine hit about 1270MHz Core and +450MHz Memory, I got really good cards, but you definitely got a very nice one as well if you can hit 1280MHz Core stable. thumb.gif

I use EVGA Precision X's "on-screen display" monitoring to see what clocks my cards reach. wink.gif
