OCing my 2500k, H50 COOLING ISSUE - Page 7

you need more than 1.2 volts. thats a for sure.
change phase control to optimized
cpu current capability to 110% or 120%
drop cpu pll voltage down to 1.7
load line calibration at medium or high
set ai overclock tuner to xmp

personally, i would set manual voltage to 1.375v and see how high of an overclock i could reach and still keep safe temps.

i STILL dont understand why your load temps are so high.

so i changed those settings and set vcore to 1.35 and multi to 45 after 10 round of high intelburntest the temps reached 65,75,75,67

After that i went back to my old 4.2 settings and ran the same test wich i got like 55,66,66,56 on before and now i a feew degrees warmer than that, Why?

I also tested out the stock cooler , keept my temps down at idle but could not keep it down on load!! also the same difference in core temp

I realize you are trying to avoid getting a new CPU..but..just give up and get a new one.

i would try to rma the h50 you have
we need to figure out what the problem is before you spend more to replace your cooler
it may be the h50 and if it is, get it replaced with a new 1.
