New Folder!

I am up and running. I am shocked because my CPU temps are only 50-53C. Holding steady as well.

Anyway, I followed the guides and as soon as I get my EOC digits I will put them into HFM. For now, it looks like 16100 PPD. I hope it helps the team!

Welcome to the team. Those points are what I normally see on my 2500k OCed to the same amount. Although super jelly of that 680. Make sure you have a passkey set up to take advantage of the bonus points you get for folding SMP work units. there is a link in the stickies at the top.

those are pretty decent temps depending on the cooling. I see low 60s but that can change a lot depending on the ambient temps

Hopefully they will get a new client out for those 680 cards soon.

Yep. I followed the guides and I'm in HFM now and my status is a green bar. The User Name has my name and team numbers, but I was unable to put in my EOC number because it's not up yet.

I don't have my EOC yet and Folding@Home stats are not updated with my user name. I'm assuming it takes some time. I just hope all these points will go towards the team and my user without the EOC in.

The EOC number is just for the users convenience. All it does is allow you to open a webpage of your EOC stats directly from HFM under the web menu. It's basically a bookmark.

Well that is good news. So as long as my status is a green bar and under user name it shows -- humafold (37726) -- I should be good? It looks like I got a solid project for my first run too... P6097.

Folders know what the title means.

EDIT: What HFM shows for your username isn't the most important part but yes the fact that it shows your username and team is good. The most important part is that in the configuration of your client it has your username (humafold ), team name (37726), and passkey (go here if you do not have one already) input correctly.

also please try to just edit the first post (the pencil in the bottom left of your post) rather than double posting. smile.gif
