1.6v on 1055t overclock with air cooling. Safe or not? - Page 5

Unless anyone has any other ideas, It seems I should just go to my stable overclock of 3.8 and deal with it. This chip, motherboard, and RAM must all be cursed or something.

Yep, only 3 minutes or so.

With the H80, running at 3.75/1.325v, the temperatures are a joke, at least I am fairly easy on this chip right? rolleyes.gif
All you can really do is play around with it and take general suggestions, every chip is a little different so we cant exactly give you hard numbers to plug in.

Well, I dont expect you guys to do it for me. But once we started going off the track I was on, Im completely lost. I was using relations to help me along, as in, I bumbed up speed, I should bump up voltage a little. Now I have nothing to compare to so Im a bit lost.

EDIT: One other thing, have you tried the OCCT PowerSupply stresser, or running FurMark while Priming? Logic just points me in the direction of, if everything is broken, maybe it's just a glitch in what's feeding them.

Well, Ive been trying to overclock this setup with 2 different PSUs. Both being brand new. Both are 750W, But this better quality PSU came into my hands through a friend so I replaced the old one.

But, Will do.

Well, after 20 mins I have no errors.

I've decided to call my 3.8Ghz OC a wall. I'd think the extra performace from my NB and HT overclocks will make up for the .2Ghz.

Thanks for the help guys ^^

Seems you have a voltage hog as well, My 1090T takes 1.45v just for 3.8ghz.
