I'd like to see bottom shots and know the sensor used too.

MAURUS looks interesting, if they don't mess it up somehow Genius might just have themselves a solid mouse for once...

Here is a review for the Deathtaker with some pics of the bottom. Huge mousefeet, but the sensor looks off center. Looks pretty comfy though.

Thanks for the info, unfortunately this review (as most mice reviews) is useless since they don't measure anything (speed, weight, dimensions), they don't open the mouse, they don't even use a standard known mouse to compare the shape and size. I don't give a damn about those subjective "game try" opinion, they don't even use the Mousetest software... that doesn't even deserve to be called a review.

I wonder why don't mice manufacturers send their review samples to guys that actually know something about peripherals and have the equipment to measure the relevant parameters. I like the work that they did a while ago with the rotating disc and measurements of many gaming mice (I think that was ESreality).

Review samples are typically given for marketing purposes. Isn't really good publicity if you can avoid it. (As a company)

PS: Sujoy only really tested max IPS at highest CPI settings. There's a bit more information and testing needed nowadays biggrin.gif

I agree that measurements would not serve as good marketing for some (or most) so-called gaming peripherals companies.

Still, in Hardware Secrets, for example, they do a terrific job with power supplies, something that wasn't usual few years ago... We need to change the paradigm of mice as "secondary" equipment that doesn't require measurement as other hardware. Something alike happened with mechanical keyboards and geekhack, its like they popularized keyboards with their extensive guides and reviews.
