So I have this old logitech game pad and all of a sudden in the middle of game play my computer starts making the "connected" "disconnected" hardware noise. "when you unplug or plug something in noise" and then my game pad quits working. I shake it a bit and it makes the noise again. So I fgure well it just must be shot. So I decide to take my ps3 controller and start using that instead. When I plug it in the system doesn't even read it. So I go to a site on "how to" for ps3 / pc controllers. I get some drivers and still nothing. Mean while @ first the ps3 was making the same noise like I was connecting and disconnecting it. I tried going from my case USB to my mobo USB and it didn't make a difference. Any idea what could be cause this? Should I just try a fresh driver install on my mobo all together?
