i saw the frozencpu one, that was partly why I went for a 20x20x0.5mm shim. and even if dwood's shim is 1-1.5mm, does that mean it is slightly bigger, like sticking out above that that thing that prevents you from smashing your 7950 die, or does that mean that 0.5mm isn't enough?
Its a figure of speech dude, but i did it old school (pen and paper).
I posted the shim size dwood supplies, and even if you use a 0.5mm shim or a thicker one you shouldn't over-tighten the screws too much. Use some common sense. =)
