To a mobo fan header or straight to the psu. If you go to a mobo header make sure its turned all the way up in bios.

Great pictures Dav631! I saw you used copper sinks on your GPU. What brand and model are they? I read it as Nizotech I might be wrong though. Is this advisable to buy because I am asking Dwood to make me an Antec Khuler 620 mount and a backplate for my GTX 570 HD Doubleshot.
Hey Dwood, do your backplates fit with full GPU water blocks?

(also, in your opinion which case to choose: 810 or C70)

It usually requires getting longer m3 screws but yes. You can also just double sided thermal tape the backplates to the pcb of your card.

I would choose the 810, I would be able to help you easier with it for sure as I have one to measure by and know alot of things we can do to the case. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, its been a whacky week.

thanks for the reply! i was considering going with this alphacool block but apparently it is only compatible with ref 7950 cards (first problem that i have encountered with my 7950 with 7970 pcb) so i'll either use the Koolance bloc (which is 100$ @PPCS) or the other alphacool block but it cools the VRMs passively frown.gif (which is why i might consider the XSPC block for 80$)

also, do you take into consideration something like this: (the groove at the underside of the back plate) Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
12546_02.jpg

and as for the case, i struggle between the two because on the one hand, the switch 810 is The case around here, it has the best window, its big and i won't regret it for lack of features. But on the other hand i like the C70 for being full metal construction and having its own unique style. (but i don't think i can find anyone to make me a proper window for it frown.gif )

again, thanks for the attention. i understand you are a busy man and keep your great work!
