I would choose the 810, I would be able to help you easier with it for sure as I have one to measure by and know alot of things we can do to the case. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, its been a whacky week.
thanks for the reply! i was considering going with this
alphacool block but apparently it is only compatible with ref 7950 cards (first problem that i have encountered with my 7950 with 7970 pcb) so i'll either use the Koolance bloc (which is 100$ @PPCS) or the other
alphacool block but it cools the VRMs passively

(which is why i might consider the XSPC block for 80$)
also, do you take into consideration something like this: (the groove at the underside of the back plate)

and as for the case, i struggle between the two because on the one hand, the switch 810 is The case around here, it has the best window, its big and i won't regret it for lack of features. But on the other hand i like the C70 for being full metal construction and having its own unique style. (but i don't think i can find anyone to make me a proper window for it
