Got my XSPC dual bay res plate from Dwood a few days ago. He even refunded my money as I had asked for a black alu anodised finish and he could not get that done. Just fixed it up last night to get an idea of how it looks and what I can do from here and thought I would share a pic:

I quite like the silver on black. I guess it depends on the case, but you could do some more aluminium accents on the case? Fan grills for example? AM sure Dwood could help you out with that.

Is it backlit or is that just something inside the case showing through?

Have you ever thought of doing a custom shroud for a GTX 680/70? I mean one that has an opening for the 620 tubing and also has a circular opening for the stock fan as well.

Something similar to the EVGA GTX 680 SC shroud (because it is pretty much flat) with an extra opening on the bottom / top for tubes. Or am I getting way ahead of myself here? tongue.gif

I'm just not a fan of modding the original shroud / don't even know if the 620 block could fit under it.

I've been wondering, would it be possible for you to make a shroud for a motherboard, something like the plastic cover on the Sabertooth Z77, but in metal:

Oh, and btw, does any of the guys whose package got stuck in Miami know how long it took to get to europe from there? Mine's been stuck there since the 30th, and due to a shipping mishap it's been shipped to the wrong address, so i kinda need to know when it's gonna arrive tongue.gif

Actually that would be a great idea; I want a custom metal cooling shroud for my graphics card.

That is the best idea I have heard in a long time.
