Corsair H100

Are all Corsair H100 Hydro Cooler compatible with the upcoming LGA 2011 chipset? On the box for the one I picked up, It only mentions it in the small print on the bottom of the box. I noticed that other ones on the shelf at CompUSA mentioned LGA 2011 compatibility on the front of the box.

P.S Sorry for the double post. I hit back and submitted again by accident. :/

the new packaging does have the socket 2011 mounting brackets, the old packaging doesn't have it but you can contact corsair customer support and they will send you the mounting brackets for free. if it's indicated on the box that it supports 2011 then it does have the mounting brackets.

Would it be okay to open the box to examine it as long as I don't take the protective cover off the water jacket assembly? I'm still waiting for the Ivy Bridge processor line to come out and I won't be installing it for about another month.

yup, it's alright, you can even install it and return before 30 days, at least at frys.

I opened the package and found that it had two different types of screws. LGA 2011 and those for older Core iX processors. Are the screws the only difference between LGA 2011 and 1155? It only had one set of mounts for both Intel and AMD processors.

there should be two miniature bolts with a loop on one end, these bolts looks like a wing nut. those the mounting kit for amd.
