Need help on memory timmings please

I'm sure some of you know i can't really OC much on my nF4 board.. IDK what timmings are good for DDR2. mine are currently 4-4-4-12, and when i OC, it's like stable for.. meh 10-40min when i OC by like 200mhz on CPU. Ive never had a stable Overclock ever, i be playin on CS, and all the sudden everything freezes, EVERYTING as in windows vent, and i cant alt-tab out so im guessing this is a result of my timmings.. right? im not too keen on experimenting on my RAM timmings. cuz everytime it crashes, i gotta take out the ram, and put in my old ddr2 533 RAM reset cmos ect. And thats a real pain, cuz i gotta move my tubing in awkward positions to the point that it make. like kinda bend too far.

Now, im not saying this is my excuse to not trying to OC, but.. can someone just give me the exact/approx timmings to run my ram at? AND how do i run my ram at a lower frequency? i think it was busca that told me to run mine at 675MHz. But how do i do that? it says Enter # between DEC 790 or 1600 in BIOS where i clock memory.. meh im confused

The only think i know about memory timmings is the lower the better. but what do you think my RAM's lowest timmings are capable of? (and stable) should i only use one stick when OC'ing? i've been told that the less sticks, the better timmings.

Any help is greatly appreciated <3

Read that, it'll help you a lot.

There are many things that I don't understand (i.e. why you have to switch RAM when you freeze...just reset the CMOS with the switch/jumper on y our mobo...)

Anyway, 4-4-4-12 is good for DDR2, at least I think it is. (I think of DDR2 timings as double DDR timings). First thing I would look for is to make sure you're CPU is stable at the speed you're trying to run. Everything is explained in the link, so read over that and if there's something you don't understand, just post again.

D000DE.. you dont get it.. my RAM requires 2.2VOLTS to make it even boot.. but my Mobo boots at 1.8V for ram when the cmops is reset! i sorry if this sopunds mean but im drunk
