Rasa or EK Kit - suggestions needed. - Page 2

I looked at all those kits myself when i went to water cooling, but ended up just getting advice from a few more people on here and doing a build myself.
works out much better, slightly more in initial cost but is much better.
hopefully good...

Sadly Dazmode is in the otherside of the world. I could let a canadia friend buy it and then let him ship that to me. But this would take ages frown.gif

in reality they will both meet your needs
That is and will be my only concern. Because my "need" is quick installation. The EK kit would be a no brainer. But it looks a bit harder/time consuming to install. And the only thing that I dont have is time, sadly.
This was the only real reason why I thought about the rasa stuff (and maybe the reputation).
But I think I will go with EK and will have to invest more valuable time to install the res and pump. redface.gif

I really dont mind about that. But searching all the fittings and stuff would take too much time that I dont have frown.gif

Again, only issue here is time, searching parts and maybe end up with stuff that doesn`t fit would be impossible.
Might sound strange but most of the time I am @work or family.

Imo get EK. It have a much better pump + tube res (looks epic as all tube res). the rest is pretty much same performance. Bit more $$ needed to spend, but imo worth it.

Well if you were to maaybe concider doing a custom build, heres what was suggested to me, and to be honest its been running perfectly for me ever since i did it.

CPU block
EK-Supreme HF Nickel EN/Acetal Top or Copper with Acetal Top or Plexi

Radiator
RX360 - great for lower rpm fans
Maybe make it the EK-CoolStream RAD XT (360) - its half the price but its still a great rad.. (i have it)

Pump
D5 single vario

RES
XSPC bay res for D5

Tube + Barb
7/16ID primochill with 1/2" barbs. (you may want some 45 and 90 bends for a neater loop too.)

if you really dont fancy that then i'd go with the EK kit personally.
friend of mine got it and has been happy with it ever since.
hopefully good...

the kits are the same thing as a custom loop, they just come with all the stuff you need in one nice package. They are perfect for beginning WCers. I would personally recommend any person starting out in water cooling to get a kit instead of trying to pick out parts.
I would go with the EK kit if you don't mind the extra cost. It is better then the rasa kit. That is coming from somebody who owns the RS360 rasa kit.

you are absolutely right, the only difference is (personally) the parts you buy seperately can be (if you get the right stuff) better quality.
but the EK kit is a good starting point.

Ok I would say that is it: EK!
Thank you everybody that helped me decide thumb.gif
rlangley643 thanks for picking these parts but as thrasherht wrote: In this kit are all stuff, every part that I need. Ad I know my luck - I would miss something and end up sozo.gif (I mean I will be sozo.gif anyway, lol)

Hi guys, sorry to bother you again.
I tried to put my own set together:
https://www.aquatuning.de/shopping_cart.php/bkey/b807b27fa11f1b99dd4be9d385097a24
Do you have ideas if there is something missing or maybe the wrong fittings(I know I only need 6 but 8 is for safety)?
And can you suggest e.g. a better radiator?
I seen the Aquacomputer revoution is rated good in reviews.
If you have better ideas please let me know -no matter what component it is.

Only requirement is the bay pump / res combo.
This way I could build that loop way tidier. With a pump mounted in the bottom the cable would have to go to the top which looks horrible
and I would have to route that over the GTX 680.

Again, as always that you very much in advance.
(Remember without your help I would have to go with a stupid kit.)
