I wonder, because I'm about to order an eVo. As far as I know the EC1 is like a Deathadder. I have a DA and it's great, but when I grab the AM I feel like the slightly smaller mouse feels more comfortable, which why I am aiming at the EC2 eVo.
Now I am a bit confused again, but I guess it is just your personal preference and no matter how large or small you hands are you probably need a very large palm grip mouse?
By the way, are you sending it to the retailer you purchased it from, or did you buy it from Zowiegear.dk and are sending it back there?

Ok, 18.5cm from red to green line, I bought it at a retailer.

Well, its not too low and narrow.. its too short, so my pinky and ring finger are all cramped up on the right side, and im forced to fingertip the mouse, else my index and middle finger goes over the mouse1 and 2 by like 4mm

yeah, i guess im just too used to the IME 3.0, which makes the DA and EC1 feel small to me, mainly because of the length

I understand now. When I palm the Deathadder (also AM), than the finger tips indeed go slightly over the M1/M2 buttons. That is not an issue for me personally, because I am using more of a hybrid claw/palm grip with occasional fingertipping, so I am not as focused on a full palm grip as you.

Well, good luck to you finding a mosue that fits. thumb.gif

I'm curious. Who would be the first online retailer to offer this mouse in the U.S? Esea? I know newegg is fairly slow receiving Zowie gear.

Big thanks, this is what I was looking for!

These main HUANO switches are the same as in AM model? I mean about hard to press.
btw. why they change them, in normal EC model these switches D2FC-G-7S was good.

And side switches and wheel are TTC like in normal EC model or maybe with better feedback?

Sensor: Avago ADNS-A3090 the same as in AM but I think with better lens, yes?

Thanks in advance for answer.

same PCB as Zowie AM/GS with few changes for fit as it seems.

Axaion, you might wanna get yourself a Qpad OM-75 or Ikari Optical for better fit and good sensor.

So these main swtiches are not tweaked to be more soft?

Why, they don't put Omron Japan D2F-01F-T Or Omron D2FC-F-7N(MS)?

Yes. (At least from what Zowie has stated/indicated)
Normal EC had both. D2FC initially, Huano after the first or two batches. (Confirmed by Zowies CMO)
Side switches aren't TTC. Wheel is a custom optical solution likely developed by Kingsis.
Same Sensor, Lens, controller, and firmware as AM. (Modification in this area isn't likely. A3060>A3090 is a drop in upgrade)

1)Not cost practical.
2)Microsoft branded 7n's. (I don't know the exact changes. Likely tolerances)

I doubt cost is a huge factor tbh. Zowie mice aren't exactly cheap. Personally I'd blame the "pro gamers" used to test their mice. From what I understand, they all prefer stiff switches. This is the complete opposite to most gamers.
