EC1 eVo black - Page 4

Won't be the same assuming 3D fov environment.

Lets say the amount of precision is controllable via sensitivity slider and resolution you're running. You can cover the resolution aspect with a specific amount of CPI , but the speed is also increased inheritely causing the need for a lower sensitivity value (More precision, less control) I'm not exactly sure, but if m_yaw and or m_pitch aren't disabled in the games you play, it could be possible granted you figure out how these settings can be divided.

Basically you can manipulate the control factor of a game using specific settings. Don't recommend high resolutions with default m_yaw and pitch though.

PS: I wouldn't really bother if you're used to a specific DPI and res though. You'd have to relearn everything.

Thanks.

I actually thought it would work better, but it seems that I'm wrong. I'd recommend keeping these mice on low step smile.gif

Jeez it's hard to maintain a steady grip on this though. It's like fiddling around with a wet sausage. Really hope they release a gloss version.

Awesome, thanks end0rphine. I am glad to hear about the switches, just what I needed.

Shame that the DPI switch ahs the colors on the mouse wheel. I'd prefer they just made the red sensor led light shine through the wheel giving it a red glow (no additional energy). I like how it is on the AM.

end0rphine, I wonder if you can answer the following questions:
1) Zowie said in thier website when they released the version that the overall design have few changes, can you confimed it or you dont see or notice any change in the shape ["Where the shape of the EC eVo will be the same as you know it from the EC1 and EC2, we have made small changes to the overall design"?
2) Is the cable is the same as the orginals EC1/2 mice?
3) Is the feets is the same the orginals EC1/2 mice?
4) Did the mouse have the scrollwheel bug as the EC1/2 had at first?
5) Did the mouse have the buttons bug as the MiCo and AM and GS have?
6) Does the feel of the rubber is the same as the black or blue edition EC's?
7) From where you bought it from?

Thanks you in advance.

1. Can't say I noticed anything. Feels the same really. Must have been really small changes lol. I used to own an EC1 white before I exchanged it a long time ago. Feels the same I think.
2. Same cable.
3. Same feet.
4. Just tested and thankfully it doesn't. I had that bug on my first EC2.
5. No, and it can't since the buttons are separated from each other.
6. Same rubber as my EC2 black and the AM.
7. Bought it from Taiwan from this site: armygroup.com.tw

Pretty much identical? I'm not sure if 500hz is better, I just heard from someone else on the forums and have been using it at 500hz since.

Yeh I think it's identical. The weird thing is I saw it shoot to 3.9 m/s on some swipes, but I just scratched them off as outliers and continued to swipe. The average was around 2.9.
