it's definitely the sensor and not perceived sensitivity at ALL, and this has been noted by other owners of the AM as well. The base sensitivity for each increment is higher than the factory specifications. To do a simple test, grab another mouse, adjust for the (probable) smaller width of the am, and drag from one side of the mousepad to the other, put the zowie am on the 'same' true sens, and do the same. Your cursor will travel further with the am. it doesnt matter which mouse i use, 1.1, ikari optical, g400, deathadder.
The zowie travels further than them all on the same sensitivity. Whether or not it's higher than the factory specifications is really up for debate though. It's pretty well-known already. I just want to know if anyone knows/knows how to found out the exact dpi.
