2.5" to 3.5" adapter for SSD

I am looking for an adapter that will allow me to mount my ssds in my Switch 810 easily. The Switch brackets are horrible for SSDs, and leave the ssd far back in the enclosure and difficult to route cables to. I want to create a custom power cable to connect my 3 hard drives to, so I need an adapter that will not only bring the drives close up front, but also line the connectors up with a standard hard drive. A fellow member directed me to this product from Icy Dock, but 20 bucks a piece is a little steep. Here is the product below:

I don't care if its fully enclosed as this product does, just that the connectors line up with my standard HDD. I'll add a link to what I did in my Corsair 550d, which had perfect brackets, in case anyone has questions.

The first picture shows what it looks like in my 550D.

Thanks!

Cheapest black plastic 2.5->3.5 bracket I could find, definitely not as fancy as that Icy Dock enclosure though (I had one, but sold it to an OCNer several months ago for $10 bucks or so)

I actually own that exact adapter, and it doesnt line the connectors up perfectly. The SSD is off to the right just enough I wouldnt be able to use a single cable.

I saw this and wondered if it was better

What do you mean by a single cable?

If it helps any, that sort of bracket you've linked is the standard one shipped with Mushkin and OCZ drives. Here's a shot of my sig rig with the bracket OCZ sent me (similar to Mushkin's), mounted to where a rear 92/80mm exhaust fan would go:

Look at the pic I linked in my first post. All of the drives power connectors need to line up perfectly so I can create a custom power cable for the exact length that I want. Otherwise, theres an unacceptable clutter of cables needed smile.gif
