sapphire 7750 ultimate OC

Thread Starter
This card is verrry interesting. so i bought it to replace an old *fanless* 5450.
noting this has no fan what-so-ever, would it be easy to overclock without worring about temperatures?
k thanx bye

no it would not... when overclocking active cooling is the only way, you may be able to get away with a 2-4% OC but thats it, passive cooling is only for stock config

Well from the reviews that i read you cant adjust the voltage sooo you cant get much out of it.... imo i saw an avg of 875 core which isn't much from stock.
Small wonder.

On the note of the over clocking the passive cooled cards i over clocked my 6570 ati sapphire cards in a crossfire and they ran around 80c most of the time one card burnt out after 3 months like that but the card cost me 78 buck canadian so if that helps with your question i would say yes you can over clock your card but expect to loose life of the card
