Graphical Errors while folding

Noticing some graphical glitches while folding. Yesterday it was something similar down by my taskbar. Today its up in the upper left hand corner. Here's the odd thing though. it doesn't show up on a black background, and if I put firefox over it like in the pictures and move firefox, it will actually move. It doesn't move though like its part of firefox border, it will glide like 1-2 inches if I move firefox or a window 5-6 inches.

Should I be at all concerned about this?

try these things
  1. reinstalling the drivers
  2. if you have overclocked the GPU bring back to stock
  3. refitting the GPU (i see you have a CF) run one card at a time and see
  4. and lastly refit your RAM
i guess your problem will be solved redface.gif reply and post the results buddy

*edit*
i just saw its in the same place on the monitor in both the pics try to blow some air in the VGA pin or the DVI pin and re fit it

Not showing up on a black background and staying in the same spot sounds more like a monitor issue to me. Is it always there or just when folding? Does it do it while gaming too? Possibly dead/stuck pixels with the monitor?

Edit: Misread, thought it was staying in that exact spot the whole time. My first guess would be unstable OC, if you are OC'ed any. I'd reset the GPU and probably even CPU just to rule out any unstable OC's.

Only pops up when folding, and sticks around even after I close. Reinstalled Drivers, and when I loaded F@H it crashed my video drivers. No issues while gaming. Reinstalled ATI drivers and booted up F@H and my video drivers crashed. So I think its an issue with ATI drivers and F@H.

Maybe go for a newer driver version if you installed an older one or vice versa. Not really sure what drivers are good for AMD GPUs.

To me it looks like it may bean unstable OC, overheating of the GPU, or a possibility that it is failing. Although the temps look fine in that picture and the artifact is so small it does not seem that the gpu is failing or anything. Although I did notice that the GPU usage is only at 48 and 49% is that standard? The temps might kick up at full usage.

My gpus aren't overclocked, and they are only hit a max of 53C at 100% load. Like I said, no other times does it do this. I can run kombuster for an hour+ and nothing, or play a game all day. But the second I boot F@H it screws everything up.

v7. I have gotten it to load without any glitches or crashing of ati drivers, but now, it doesn't use my gpus at all. They stay throttled back at 100mhz/150mhz and get no GPU load. Im just uninstalling it, its turning out to be more hassle then its worth. I have had all 4 cores at 100% on my CPU for like 30 minutes now, and no progress on any of the WU. unknown PDD, no estimation on any WUs and no progress, yet its sucking all my CPU power and not using my GPUs.
